1 Check Memory

Feature Description: Before run the program, we cancCheck the memory usage during the simulation, including the grid and the memory space occupied by running the simulation. Check Memory button in the Home tab of the Ribbon menu.

Interaction Logic: Clicking the Check Memory button prompts the software to display a popup window showing estimated memory information.

2 Run

Feature description : Call the "Solver" or "Solver+Analysis" activated in the project for simulation calculation.

Notes:

1) Save the project project project and then run the simulation. If not saved, the following dialog box will pop up. Click "Conform" to save the project and run the simulation.

If the project parameters in the FDTD simulation are incorrect or the excitation source is not set, an error message will appear. If the available memory of the current computing resources is less than 200 MB more than the estimated simulation memory, a low memory warning will be issued in the message. If the estimated simulation memory exceeds the available memory of the current computing resources, the simulation will report an error. In such cases, free up memory from unnecessary software or adjust the simulation parameters so that the available memory is sufficient for the simulation calculation.

3 Resources

Function Description: When clicking the Run Solver or Solver+Analysis button, the Resources popup will automatically appear, allowing the configuration of computing resources for different solver algorithms.
